Krewella believes "love and music have the greatest healing energy." That's why they decided to go through with their show in Boston, only two days after the unimaginable and devastating Boston Marathon bombing.
In a new video, Yasmine explains "I do think that it's right for us not to cancel the show. People need something to look forward to. People need something to bring some light and happiness into a dark time."
So the trio packed out Royale in Boston on April 17th, uniting a heavy-hearted community during a difficult and scary time. Half of the show's proceeds were donated to the ONE FUND to help the victims of the horrific attacks.
Jahan, Yasmine, and Rain Man leave a message for their Boston krew below the video: "The power of music should never be underestimated. Thank you Boston KREW for holding it down for your city in a tough time. MUSIC HEALS."
